David Hill
David Hill, the Chairman, graduated from Imperial College in 1976 and joined the family business in electrical contracting and over time became the MD. The business peaked at a 93m turnover and 14 branches nationwide. It was one of the largest companies in it's sector. Projects included the Bullring, The Gherkin in London and the Bank of England rewire. In 2008 the business was restructured with the utility company SSE purchasing the shares and leaving David free to pursue his other interests.
David has had a life long interest in IT and has previously successfully run a computing company. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management. David is currently involved with several other companies and charities.
David says, "I stand for long term business, building for the future. Business is far, far, more than just a profit stream. It is about delivering success for us all. Our future is based on the belief that in a changeable world sound values, sound finance and integrity will always succeed."
Charles Chance
Charles, the Managing Director, is an IT specialist whose background is in designing and maintaining large IT infrastructure projects. He is a Microsoft Certified Engineer. He brings together a varied knowledge of different commercial environments to his position of Managing Director. He has previously worked in senior positions in the Charitable, Entertainment and Communications Industries.
In the early part of this century he set up a dot com business working alongside Ebay. Added to this wide experience he brings a ferocious intellect and a passion for all IT based projects.
Charles says, “Cloud Net represents the start of a major new revolution in business telecoms. It is a business that is real, based on real world values of integrity and is delivering a radical new price point and brand to the Industry.”
Danielle Cochrane
Danielle joined the team in March 2009 as the Business Development Manager, she has a wealth of experience in the Sales and Administration sector. She brings with her the passion to take the company to the next level and her friendly office presence has helped to gain many customers. Danielle wants to help develop Cloud Net to become the leading telecom provider within the UK. She formerly won an award for "sales dealer of the year" at her previous company.
Danielle says, "We want to ensure that our customers are looked after at all times and to allow them to feel at ease with their telephone system, I believe Cloud Net has the complete solution for all Businesses in the UK. We always aim to provide a high quality service ensuring our customers are happy at all times.
Aksi Shiraz
Aksi joined in May 2010 as the network operations manager and has over 12 years experience in telecommunications, including roles in broadband networks and software test management. Aksi has a strong commitment to customer service and network quality.
Aksi says, "As telecommunications nationally and internationally are evolving and the use of broadband has expanded dramatically, I am excited with the prospect of Cloud Net's future growth and the growing VoIP market. Watch this space!"
Kevin Box
Kevin joined the Cloud Net team at the start of October 2009 as the E-Marketing Co-ordinator. He is a recent University Graduate who has experience in retail and finance, he was also a part of an award winning young enterprise business. Kevin has a passion for computers and brings enthusiasm to the team.
Kevin says "I believe that the future of telecoms will be hosted VoIP solutions, the telephone solution that Cloud Net offers is a high quality feature rich system at outstanding value. I am excited about being a part of one of the fastest growing sectors in the current market."
Richard Starkie
Richard joined the technical support team in 2010 and brings with him over 10 years IT support experience in industries as wide ranging as Local Government, Healthcare and Entertainment. Richard has a real passion for all things IT related and is committed to providing a first-class support service to customers old and new.
Richard says "There is no question in my mind that over the next couple of years, there will be a rapid decline in traditional analogue telephony used in business, as broadband gets faster and faster. Companies will begin to see the light and move to much more cost effective solutions such as VoIP. I am really looking forward to being an integral part of Cloud Net's success."
